Surprise from Nintendo: ‘Nintendo Music’.
On Thursday 31 October, Nintendo launched Nintendo Music. Today is Halloween, a surprise from Nintendo. While Smash Bros. had the ability to listen to in-game music, ‘Nintendo Music’ allows you to listen to Nintendo’s game music on your smartphone. It is really convenient to be able to use it on the smartphone you always carry with you.
Music is a really big part of games. The author sometimes searches online for music from games he used to play and listens to it for an hour or so.
The author has had a Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in his home for as long as he can remember. Friends around me had newer, next-generation consoles. Memories of those days of clearing difficult stages in ‘Super Mario World’ and ‘Yoshi Island’ with friends come back. I also have other memories in my head of playing ‘Super Smash Bros.’ and ‘Super Mario Sunshine’ at my friend’s house, that song from that stage. Nintendo Music’, a service that didn’t seem possible, is now available with a high level of perfection. Nintendo is still amazing.
